Just last night, a thousand dead and counting, it was genocide, And I could have cried, but someone changed the channel making things alright. Now I don’t mind, everyone’s got issues and our eyes turn blind, But I’ve realised, since we’re in this mess together we should probably combine, what’s yours is mine. So get up, go out, let them know what we’re about, Take a chance, take a stance. So many sleeping people, who just don’t know they’re capable of making little ripples into waves. Now don’t get me wrong, all the preaching hippies they’ve got plans of their own. I’ve grown too used to my mobile phone, and I still leave the lights on when there’s nobody home. But back in real life, I think that everyone deserves an equal chance to survive and I’ve been meaning to criticise each administration that accepts that their hands are tied. Well as long as it’s us that thrives. So get up, go out, let them know what we’re about, Take a chance, take a stance. So many sleeping people, who just don’t know they’re capable of making little ripples into waves. All the words that turn to nothing, float downstream, someone else’s dreams. So get up, go out, let them know what we’re about,

Carousel 03:01
The ground comes up fast And we swear it’s our last While the first light, it brings a new day I’m in love with the feeling That I get when you’re near me And I wonder if you feel the same I’m getting weaker and weaker With each railway sleeper That passes and knows me by my first name The amapola poppy no I swear it never got me no But that’s not to say I’m ok Carousel, you were doing so well Was it not meant to be? Here’s to you, punctured and used, While you live out your days by the sea Only once did I lie Yet I still tried and I try And I hope to convince you some day Yes now I understand Since you held me in your soft hands I promise that I’ll change my old ways Carousel, you were doing so well Was it not meant to be? Here’s to you, punctured and used, While you live out your days by the sea Memories that come to visit me through frequent dreams The band plays in its stand and you keep spinning ‘round to screams Those summer days have long since come and gone The package deals, the two for ones While your open wounds, rust in peace

Sixty seconds is all I reckon that it takes me and you, Sixty seconds is all I reckon that it takes us to start something new, It may not last for life but today I feel like is just might, If only I knew what to say to you, And if only I knew what you'd say to me too... Time is eternal and life is infernal alone
